miserable day here in town - 40 degrees and rained all day - but it's snowing now and YNP had to close the south entrance and my friend is snowed in up in West Yellowstone, MT. given all these variables, i optimistically checked the webplots. 10 inches today at mid-mountain, and the NOAA weather forecast said the rain will turn to snow and we can expect 6 to 10 inches overnight. looking forward to a white blanket over the valley when i wake up tomorrow.

if i still lived in vermont, this would be enough coverage to open for business. of course, if i still lived in vermont all this snow would be artificial. i knew there was a reason i moved to wyoming.
